Technical Training Course: Pipeline Global Buckling due to High Temperature and High Pressure
Course Objective:
This 2-day classroom training is intended for pipeline engineers that will perform design of high pressure/high temperature pipelines or otherwise wish to gain insight in design of High Pressure and High Temperature pipelines as described in DNV-RP-F110:2021.
Course Features:
The course will give an introduction to the design philosophy of the DNV-RP-F110:2021, how it complements to the DNV-ST-F101:2021 and gives specific requirements for global buckling scenarios of HT/HP pipelines:
– Characteristic properties of HT/HP pipelines
– Expansion Forces
– Effective Force
– Finite Element Models for Pipeline Global Buckling
– Scenario 1: Exposed pipelines on even seabed
– Scenario 2: Exposed pipelines on uneven seabed
– Scenario 3: Buried pipelines
Training Duration: 2 working days
Trainer: Nguyen Thanh Binh (Master of Engineering) who have long-service for DNV specialized in offshore pipeline discipline. He had experiences in both training and project execution for analytical/FE analyses of offshore HT/HP pipelines.
Training Fee: TBA (minimum 7 pax for a training course). The price is lumpsum that includes all TAX and necessary training room facilities in a 4-star hotel in Vung Tau city.
