This 3-day classroom course introduces fundamental nonlinear structural analyses, international standards and dedicated softwares used in oil and gas structures.
Course Features:
The course gives an introduction to the standards and how to perform nonlinear structural analyses the subjects covered include:
– Fundamental concepts of nonlinear structural analyses (wave/current loads, strength resistance, reserved strength ratio etc.)
– Requirements of structural robustness in international standards (API, ISO, DNV etc.)
– Nonlinear structural analysis suites and USFOS software
– Hand-on exercises
– Tailored VBA tool for USFOS analyses

Trainer: Nguyen Thanh Binh (Master of Engineering) who have long-service for DNV specialized in offshore structure discipline. He had experiences in both training and project execution for nonlinear analyses of offshore structures.
