Training Course Title: Assessments for Anomaly Defects in Submarine Pipelines in Accordance with International Standards API 579, DNV-RP-F101, ASME B31G

Course Objective:
The course is designed to assess anomalous defects found in ILI/UTM and detailed subsea inspection campaigns of submarine pipeline. Because the anomalous defects can cause pipeline to be ruptured by various failures, the technical assessments be carried out to determine whether a defect shall be rectified.
The objective of course is to provide comprehensive knowledge, project experience and analysis tools for trainee about various defect types (especially on corrosion defects) in accordance with latest international standards API 579, DNV-RP-F101, ASME B31G.
Trainee will get a completion certificate upon passing all requirements of the training course.

Course Features:
The literature research about pipeline defects
The NG-18 Equation and technical standards
Corrosion defects and corrosion rates due to CO2/H2S containment
Assessments of single corrosion defects in accordance with API 579, DNV-RP-F101, ASME B31G
Assessments of interacting corrosion defect clusters in accordance with DNV-RP-F101 Part A
Assessments of crack defect types in accordance with API 579, Kiefner research tool.
